SOE Student Spotlight is on Julissa De La Cruz, who is the current president of the Counseling Graduate Student Association, a graduate assistant in Career and Professional Development and an M.A. in Counseling candidate. My passion for education and mental health advocacy grows every day because of the lack of holistic support for underserved communities," said Julissa. During her term as president of CGSA, Julissa hopes to make networking and bonding online more organic among students via zoom events, social media, and in-person opportunities to connect in the near future.
