I have been working on getting info to my clients about reopening and all of the new protocols and info to share, and now I learn about this. Hoping I will have all details on a timeline on Monday, but in the mean time I will be sending the rest of the info by the end of the weekend. I am eager to get back to work and help all of my wonderful clients, but I will be doing so very safely and the smartest way I see fit for my family. I have been lucky enough to have a healthy ...son for 8 months, and I intend to keep him that way if possible. I am sure you all understand, thank you for being so patient, I appreciate you all more than you know. I am updating my email subscription list and it will now be the best way to get new updates from Living Lotus Massage in the future. Hello everyone!!! I'm sorry I've been a little MIA lately, but like you, I have been trying to navigate my "new normal" during these different times. I have been contacted by a few clients in the last weeks, and no, I'm not back doing massage as of yet. To be completely honest, I don't have any idea when that will be, or even what it will actually look like when I come back. My business model has always been a bit different (okay completely different) from other Massage The...rapists in my industry. I'm mobile, and that creates even more obstacles in what I need to implement to create a safe session for my clients AND myself, as I will be in their space. In order to effectively protect me and my clients, I want to make sure to apply any new protocols of my own and what my industry requires as seamless as possible. So with that said, I'm waiting and watching patiently, to see when and how I will reopen my business. I'm attaching pictures of what CAMTC has posted relating to questions about opening so you have the information I have. (CAMTC is who certifies Massage Therapists in CA) I'm so thankful for every single one of my clients, and can't wait to get back to work doing what I love! When that happens I want us all to remain safe, so thank you for your patience too. It hasn't been easy for anyone I'm sure! (I'm ready for a massage myself asap!!! Sending a little self care your way during this time, just because we are sheltering in place doesn't mean our bodies need to suffer. I'm going to keep sharing any tips and tricks you can do at home if you would like, stuff I will be trying out myself too!

First off I hope you are doing well and staying healthy during this crazy time. I have been waiting to see what would happen in the last week or so concerning COVID-19 before I took any action in my business, and was just making sure my clients and I were healthy before I went to my massage appointments. Unfortunately it seems like my industry is now being asked to limit touch with the public, and since I have a young baby and want to do my part in not spreading this unknowi...ngly, I have decided to reschedule all of my appointments until at least April, but will be updating as this carries on in the coming weeks. It saddens me to have to cancel because right now the world needs so much compassion and love, and I feel I provide that through my touch. Being cut off from my clients is going to be very difficult, but I feel it is my best choice to be proactive and help the public heal from this spreading virus. I am going to be available by text, email and messenger on facebook during these couple of weeks to help with self care ideas in the meantime. I'd love to share any tips and tricks I've learned for individuals to try themselves when I can't help them personally! Please take care and stay healthy, and thank you for understanding. With us still being in Cold and Flu Season, and all the craziness of the Coronavirus, I just want to remind my clients to please reschedule if you are feeling unwell at all. I will never hold it against you, and we can easily schedule for a day you are feeling much better. For me, this also includes just a scratchy throat or minor sickness as well, since I have an infant at home and would like to keep him germ free as long as I can! I am still taking clients, and I feel li...ke especially now, since there is so much fear in the world, we all need some happiness and relaxation. With that said, I always (and will continue to) practice important safe hygiene and cleanliness (on my own body, table and products), I wash my linens with hot water, and will never work on my clients if I am sick as well. If you have any questions or concerns, or need to reschedule due to feeling generally yucky, please contact me directly. I hope everyone has an amazing and healthy end of their week and weekend!!! I've decided to turn off my messages from Yelp and start distancing myself from their site- I have too many reviews on there that have been taken off by the company and labeled as "not recommended", which is ridiculous. That is just ONE example of what I don't like about Yelp, (there's so many more reasons) so I've decided to do more on Google.
