We are thrilled to introduce MEG CONNELL, Live Oak Waldorf School's 1st GRADE TEACHER for next year! We want to warmly welcome Meg and her lovely family to the Live Oak Waldorf community. Learn more about Meg: Meg Connell is a Northern California native. She began her teaching career in public middle school, teaching English and theatre 6th-8th grade; she has now been a Waldorf grades teacher for 5 years and completed her Waldorf teacher training through the Bay Area Center ...for Waldorf Teacher Training. She is currently teaching 4th grade for what was East Bay Waldorf School (and what will be Wildcat Canyon Community School). She loves the rich and nourishing Waldorf curriculum and how it really meets each child. She brings with her a special passion for singing, writing, theatre, and also a deep love of nature. She can't wait to enjoy the beautiful Sierra Nevadas with her class. Her whole family is eager to come and be part of this beautiful school community. At Live Oak Waldorf School, we enjoy 40-acres of natural woodland for all our programs and grades to explore, rain or shine. Our Outdoor Homeschool Kindergarten program is fully embraced in nature from beginning until the end of the day . The students explore and learn with the campus as their classroom, and begin and end the day in our garden Cob Greenhouse.
