We've been receiving a number of inquiries about our water situation, given the overall situation in Mendocino County (and California in general). Currently, the wells at Little River Inn are keeping up just fine. While we have begun conservation methods in the back of house, the guest experience is not altered.

A very happy New Year from all of us at the Little River Inn to all of our guests new and old. This has been a challenging year, unlike any other, but in spite of everything we have found ourselves more grateful for our friends than ever before. To everyone who safely came and visited when they could, who picked up BBQ from our smoker during the early days of our shutdown, who joined us in our new outdoor dining tent, who played a round of golf and to everyone who saw the...ir annual trip delayed a year, but followed along online and sent their greetings thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. We are looking toward 2021 with optimism and excitement about seeing all of you again when it's safe. The weather has been beautiful as we close out the year the rain short and sweet, the sunny days stunning, the oceans wild, and the mushrooms bountiful. We are looking forward to an amazing spring and summer. We've also been grateful for the hard work being done by frontline workers in the health care community the first responders, the EMTs, the nurses, the doctors to keep us all safe. It is with a feeling of deep gratitude that we've watched our friends who work the frontlines receiving their early doses of the vaccine and we want to show our thanks in a concrete way. We've been spotting whales these past few weeks, sometimes surprisingly close to the shore. There's definitely a migration season here, but increasingly we're seeing those tell-tale spouts all through the year!
