Hey Peeps! This is a long one but we feel so many feels right now it just needs to happen . . Thank you so much for all of your support over these last 4 years. We loved every minute of growing together with the children we taught along the way. We are beyond grateful to all of our little ones who showed up on their yoga mats learning how to navigate big emotions with breath and movement. Thank you to our families that allowed us time away to build a business tha...t helps heal children. We find so much purpose in our lives every time we enter into a class. . We have worked with children of all abilities and there is always one common theme in our classes: a respect for our bodies, differing opinions and diversity. Our main goal is to teach children first how to accept where they are on their mats and to make them feel amazing at where they are. We keep our classes positive, upbeat and fun. These simple forms of play we use allow the children to connect yoga to the outside world. . . We hope to always bring more peace to the life of every child we meet. Our newest venture is hosting teacher trainings to help yoga teachers and preschool teachers bring some of our techniques into their classes. We look forward to the future with all of you! What is yoga to me? Everything! After my son was diagnosed with scoliosis at a year old, this mama was looking for every type of intervention to help heal his spine and avoid invasive treatments. Not only has yoga helped his spine, it has helped him become the happy, free spirited five year old he is today. What does #momlife look like to you? For me, yoga has always been my go to for anything in life that I needed to deal with that I didn’t want to. After my Dad died, yoga helped me manage my sadness, I knew it was a gift I wanted to share with my children. We started @littlepeepsyoga 3 years ago, with a vision to share with our children + their friends the benefits of having control over their thoughts + feelings. Three years later we share our goals with schools, studio...s + children all over. #Momlife for me means going back to my practice when I need it most so I can manage hard feelings in a healthy way. It is not easy. But - our children emulate everything we do. Kids yoga looks different + sounds different. It is fun, lively + honestly funny.
