From Liss: Know That I Am With You, the new dance film project that we are working on, is about ongoingness, about the ways we absorb history into our beings and move forwards. I began this project while hiking, thinking of the fog at dawn enveloping Pierce Point Ranch in Point Reyes. A few days later, I went there alone, at first light, in the fog, with vibrant bird songs. The white buildings shone as the sun rose. The stillness, the energy, the feeling of life in the abandoned buildings and the surrounding land are the impetus for this film.
