We thank the fearless firefighters battling the many fires in the west and especially those combating the Dolan fire (fairly far to the north but still the bigg...est fire in our neck of the woods). We are humbled and happy to be delivering farm fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner to the firefighter headquarters for these hard working heroes this past week. It has been all hands on deck with John and Renee and grandchildren helping with this unexpected business pivot. Chef Matt and the whole Linn’s team involved deserves a whole lot of love for pitching in to make a difference and support the firefighters with what we do best: good hearty food. See more

Linn’s is doing its part for Earth Day everyday. Not only do we farm without sprays and chemicals and use what we grow rather than buying or transporting off the land, but many of our systems such as our greenhouse, well for water for the farm, and our walk in freezer have the majority of their power supplies via our solar arrays. We harvest into reusable bins and often (though not at this very moment), have pigs who consume restaurant food scraps or we provide to neighbors who raise pigs. Our home on the farm is also solar-powered. There is no planet B!
