If you have ever trained with us, you know how much importance we put into naming things (Rhythmjuice has a wonderful relationship with our dictionary and thesaurus). For example, we use very specific mantras and we take time to be accurate with counts instead of general scatting. Clarity is so important. This is why we often like to use the word BASIC instead of Beginner. We struggle with using the word beginner at times because someone's definition of what a beginner is mig...ht be different than another's. And labeling something as Beginner doesn't give insight into someone's learning speed. BASIC means forming an essential foundation or starting point; fundamental. It doesn't mean it's necessarily easy or for inexperienced dancers. So while our BASIC SWING program is great for people starting out, it's really designed for all levels.
