Had a chance to play with Sony’s 85mm f/1.4 G master lens for my shoots over the weekend and all I can say is, I’m in love I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it the color, clarity, depth of field, I went home and ordered a keeper immediately. Completely raw shot dropped from my a9 to my phone of the gorgeous @bisouxo at her bridal shower, wearing @rimearodaky and hosted at the ever fabulous @figandolive on Melrose

Sometimes, I feel a deep conflict between my obligation to my brand and my obligation to artistry. This photo is what I’d call off brand for me. It’s dark, moody, unposed, but I love it very deeply. Trying to shift my focus away from the shoulds and shouldn’ts of my industry and focus solely on the shots that move me. If it makes my feed seem disjointed I’m okay with it
