Aloha Team! 1. ISPE forms are due this Friday. Everyone will get an email when they are ready and waiting in my mailbox. 2. Nick Gabaldon Day is this Saturday, June 3, at Tower 20. Set up begins at 8am and we wrap the surfing portion by 1pm. We need everyone to help stoke the 150 students coming out for their first ocean experience! This day also serves as a training opportunity for anyone who wants to volunteer this summer with Surf Bus.... 3. Ohana Nalu Luau is this Sunday, June 4, and it's an event for everyone! Surf contest for the kids, parents, and coaches; board demos; munchies; great company! There will be tons of prizes to give away and these trophies are the best yet . Please make sure your grom signs up today for their events--this is still an ISPE required event.

ATTENTION SURFERS: We're postponing this Sunday's Ohana Nalu event in Huntington Beach due to rain starting Saturday evening and continuing through Monday. There are two March events up on the website: March 6 (in Manhattan) and March 19 (in Huntington). Surfers can use their credits from this weekend to sign up for these other upcoming events--you don't have to buy again--just go to the Surf Academy calendar in mindbody and click the events you want. Practice tomorrow is the same usual time, 7-9am this week at Tower 26

Surf Academy peeps heading south for our Ohana Nalu surf day, there's dense fog in Huntington that is keeping the water almost invisible till almost 10am. I'm going down anyway, and wanted to give y'all a heads up. It's up to your parents if they let you surf without being able to see you or you being able to discern landmarks.
