How can it be Friday already? Well, today we’ll be hunkering down in Palmdale most of the day. Except to grab some lunch and to deliver books to Lancaster, we’ll be open from 11am-5pm. Go ahead and bring in those books you’ve been trying to bring in for trade credit or donation. Limit it to 2 bags/boxes please. Don’t forget that all our used books are an additional 25% off, excluding trade credit, in Palmdale only. After yesterday’s Artisan Craft Faire and BLVD Market we’ll b...e putting back together our bookstore in Lancaster. No book intakes here today as we’ll be intaking all day in Palmdale instead. Hey everyone! We’re here in Palmdale from 9am-3pm to take in used books for donation or trade credit today. Help spread the word about our reopening. We really need your support. Tammy will be opening in Lancaster at 11am and we’ll close at 8pm at the earliest. We have Orlando Baeza, animator for Bob’s Burgers teaching an advanced drawing class for children and teenagers age 9+. Class starts at 1pm. Class fees vary.

Just a heads-up for tomorrow. We’ll be in Palmdale from 9am-3pm and will be welcoming craft vendors in our bookstore from 9am-1pm. Vendor tables are just $5. Shoppers please consider shopping local indie crafters and small businesses during this holiday season.

We are here today until 1:30pm. Sorry, one of our booksellers is out sick and we need coverage in Lancaster. Feel free to drop off your book donations and drop offs for trade credit until 1:15pm.

We’ll be closed in Palmdale today since one of our booksellers is out with the flu. We will be open there tomorrow from 10:30am-3:00pm for book drop offs. As for today we’ll be open in Lancaster from 11:00am-7:00pm and can take up to two bags of used clean books for trade credit. Also, today in Lancaster from 12:00pm-3:00pm and 7:00pm-10:00pm are our 3-hour ceramic sculpture classes for $18. Fee includes all supplies, instruction and kiln firing.

Come and support us as we reopen our Palmdale location. Starting Tuesday, October 29 at 10:30am we’ll be manning our 842 W Palmdale Blvd bookstore Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30am-3pm. Also, Fridays from 10:30am-3pm and Saturdays from 9am-3pm, when booksellers are available. We’ve been closed for 3 years and need to start selling and purging books, and of course paying rent. Books are packed onto bookcases but aren’t yet priced or cleaned. We’ll price and clean books as you shop. As an incentive we’ll be giving an additional 25% off all used books in our Palmdale location only until the end of November. Please help us spread the word to other readers.
