For the past 3 years, Meals Of Love has showcased a story of the community working together. This year is even more special, as we try to write a different story for Mother’s Day. During this difficult time with the Covid-19 Pandemic, we come together as a community to share, with love and care, to make a difference with those who are struggling. We deliver meals to the unsung heroes and the needy, from healthcare workers, supermarket workers, the police force and fire depart...ment, to schools, nursing homes, jails and juvenile probation centers, women shelters, senior citizens, the homeless and families in need. To the everyday heroes, who work day and night to make the world safe and function, this is our way of saying thank you for your dedication and tireless efforts. Thank you to everyone for working together to make Meals Of Love the program that it is today. And a Special thank you to Jen Chung, Thien-Nhien Luong, Kelly Kelana La and Helen Nong for your helping hand in working together, along with so many other community leaders, nonprofit organizations and local small business owners to make this happen.
