Life Alert 10.12.2020

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: I had opened my back door but not yet entered, then realized my bathroom window was missing. I didn’t know if someone was still in the house, so I pushed Life Alert immediately and the alarm sounded. Life Alert called police and I stayed outside till they came and took over. Life Alert stayed with me until they arrived and called me several times throughout the day to reassure me. It’s a great feeling to know they were there. Thank you so much. At peace now.

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: Life Alert’s response and contact of appropriate persons was prompt, courteous, and as protocol required. Follow-up by Life Alert was also accurate and on target. Paramedics/fire rescue response was prompt and as warranted by instructions. [Life Alert] was courteous and helpful. I love you, Life Alert people definitely well worth the cost, etc.

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: This wasn’t a medical emergency. Someone rang my door bell at 10:30 pm, kept banging on my door and yanking the door knob to my security screen door. I knew they couldn’t get in that way but this person continued to stay and I could hear a loud thump and scratching noises. My neighbors were away and all my family so I called Life Alert and asked them to call the police. I was impressed the way you stayed on the line until the police arrived. Life Alert called me back to see if I was ok about a half hour later. I don’t open my door at night unless I am expecting someone I know. Life Alert emergency alarm scared the person away. I live alone and it is a comfort to have Life Alert.

Life Alert 15.11.2020

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: At approximately 6:15pm, my doorbell rang, and then I opened the door, a man tried to force his way in. I slammed and locked the door and called Life Alert. They came on the line very quickly and immediately contacted the police. The man left before the police arrived but I appreciate the way Life Alert helped me during a very scary situation.

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: Well, here’s another life saved - mine! One afternoon, I fell going down the basement stairs, only two or three stairs, but enough to have no way to right myself. I was in terrible pain, having probably broken my hip. Thank God, I reached for my pendant, heard a rescuing voice who immediately called paramedics, my son and daughter, and neighbors who had my keys. Life Alert stayed with me until EMTs arrived. Sincere thanks to the little white pendant!

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: Life Alert helped my father stay at home and independent. He fell several times and pushed the pendant alert and got help right away. I live close by and they would call me and I could go help. This helped him stay in his own home.

Life Alert 02.11.2020

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: Its 3:00 a.m. I couldn’t breathe. I had an immediate reply from Life Alert. EMT was in the house within minutes, soon off to the hospital. Another time 10:30 p.m. I went outside of my home to turn off water (hose on grass) and fell down and couldn’t get up. I wasn’t hurt. No one came by on my street. After 15 minutes I thought, What have I got the Life Alert for? So I pushed the button. I was glad to hear a voice to tell them my problem. Within minutes the local marshal and a friend came by to find me sitting on the lawn. They each took a hold of an arm and stood me up and I walked into the house. I am 87 years old and I am so happy that Life Alert is with me not only for a medical emergency but just to help my age old body.

Life Alert 09.10.2020

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: I had to call in and thank you, not only for saving my life, but my home as well. I was boiling chicken and completely forgot about it. I went to the garage to clean up, and soon I heard my neighbor and some firemen, who you had contacted, coming up to my house. My home was now filled with so much smoke it looked like a dirty fish bowl. Luckily, you got the signal from my smoke alarm and contacted my friends, neighbors and the Fire Department. If it wasn’t for you, I might have lost my house forever. I’m very thankful, and wanted to tell you how happy I am to have your service.

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: My son was after me to get Life Alert ever since my wife died 3 yrs ago, but I kept putting it off. The week before my attack your people installed the system and that was the best thing I ever did. Your people responded very quickly and saved my life. I’m eternally grateful. Thanks again.

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: I badly sprained my left ankle and quad muscles reaching around to grab the Clorox wipes behind me! No fall; just overreacted. COVID- 19 made me do! Always wiping often touched surfaces, you know. I hobbled up to bed, thinking it would be better in the morning. By 6:30 AM, I gave up, and pushed my Life Alert button, and the EMT’s arrived very promptly, taking me, oh so professionally, off to emergency. Life Alert certainly saved the day, stayed on the line and was A+.

Life Alert 12.09.2020

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: I was in the backyard, behind a building, pulling weeds. One would not come. I started pulling harder and either my hand slipped or the weed came up. I fell backwards and hit the gravel. Didn’t really hurt at the time, tried to get up and that was impossible so I hit the Life Alert button on my wrist- within a short period of time my husband found me and [EMS] appeared on the scene. Took all the vitals and checked the chair my husband put me in, then carried me into the house- talked about ER. I refused. Then the next morning, decided I should go to ER- [EMS] came out again, put me in an ambulance. The outcome, three broken bones in pelvis. ER called a bone DR and he came over to see and everything was taken care of. Now I am walking, driving and working on needed house work- am doing great, thanks to everyone.

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: My dear friends, the first and most important message to you since I have had this Life Alert is that I am never alone. All my family and my neighbors work so I am alone every day. This past experience was a blessing in disguise. I had a panic attack and the two ambulance guys and the nurse took me to the hospital. They were so gentle and caring; they took my blood pressure and gave me oxygen. They also talked me out of being scared. When they got me to the hospital the nurse discovered I had shingles on my back and started with medication right away. I had shingles about 2 years ago and it was the worst pain in my life. Now I am well again, thanks to Life Alert, and my family thanks you too. Thanks again. May God bless and keep you all well.

Life Alert 06.09.2020

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: We just had the Life Alert system in just a short time and in February I found my husband in a diabetic coma. I could not have made it without Life Alert. They became everything to me. We have no relatives or close friends. But Life Alert stayed with me until he was responding 1 hours later. They became my best friend and I found it comforting knowing Life Alert was right there all the way. Thanks.

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: My phone rang. I tried to get in my wheelchair to go answer and the next thing I knew I was on the floor and the wheelchair was upside down. Pushed my Life Alert button. I was able to scoot to the door and open it when 3 young men arrived to help. One picked me up and set me in the wheelchair and took me to the bathroom and put me on the commode very gently. Then they put me on a stretcher and in the ambulance to the hospital emergency room. Life Alert is worth every penny it costs.

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: I was going to church; it was 6:45 am. I put my Life Alert on and hurried out the door forgetting my keys in the double lock on the inside of the door. So I locked myself out of the house and inside my yard because the keys for my gates are with my house keys. I was stuck, and at 75 years old I could not climb the fence. I pushed my Life Alert button and about 15 minutes later the paramedics came and also my sister-in-law, who they alerted, and had extra keys. I was able to get out. Thank you for such prompt service, it was a scary moment. God’s Blessings to all.

Life Alert 25.07.2020

TESTIMONIAL OF THE DAY: I fell in my bathroom and hit my head on the toilet paper holder. Hitting the head, of course, results in a large amount of blood coming forth. I pushed the [Life Alert] button in the shower and received an immediate response from Life Alert. I believe there were five men who came right away. I was taken to the hospital. The men were most helpful and kind. Imagine I had had Life Alert only for a short time before I needed it.
