So Shop staff was hanging out virtually on the Zoom the other day, all at home, by ourselves, in our Halloween costumes of course, (since it was the annual staff Halloween party) and somebody said: THIS SUCKS. And yes, it totally does suck. It totally sucks. This sucks. Still, credit to the team, the next sentiment was WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT? So this is what we’re going to do about it: Starting Thursday, October 15th, the Library Shop is going to tour an 8ft by 8ft ...Haunted Library Mural, designed by our favorite illustrator Boygirlparty.com, around to 15 SDPL branches and we’re going to give you and your kids a safe, socially distanced, outdoor and curbside way to show off your Halloween costumes and then we’re going to snap a souvenir Polaroid which you can safely take directly from the camera as proof that Halloween 2020 wasn’t a total washout.
