The best boyfriends I could ever have. Being loved by you + your daddy makes my heart so full! Having the best vacation with our besties + at quite possibly the cutest cabin, ever! @whispervalleyranch was able to host us after our Yosemite trip fell through last minute. It was the best curve ball, we are having a blast & highly recommend it!! What have you done lately for you? Something that makes you feel special, cared for, extra, beautiful, and loved? We live in the age where self care is promoted everywhere - and I’m here for it. I want it for every generation! As a woman, I’m promoting this for each & every one of us, from tweens to great grandmas - take care of you! You cannot pour from an empty cup. No one benefits from you being at 2%. We do not have to give and give until you’re run down. Let yourself hav...e the 30 minute work out. Get your hair done. Drink your coffee outside alone. Refill your cup! Show our younger generation self care is a priority & it’s actually enabling us to continue to be selfless. I also believe in this idea strongly for our men. Often burdened by the financial weight of caring for families or achieving status that defines them. Men, though few of you read this, you are more than your salary. You are more than your job. You are more than the strong back bone of our families. You are allowed to be vulnerable, you are allowed to slow down and take a breath... you’re allowed to be unsure or tired. All that quiet + soul searching can help lead you to your strength and power, don’t burn out. Let’s all empower one another to care for our selves. Promote self care in all its varying forms to men & women alike. Let’s give each other grace to be where we are to heal + refill, in order to move forward. Wouldn’t that be powerful? I’m gonna reread these words when guilt floods me as i sneak away from morning cuddles to work out. Or run out to get my nails done after dinner. ITS BEEN A YEAR?! Almost 1 year ago, i went all in at BMSCON4 to learn @naturalbeadedrowsextensions and i had no idea how much it could change my life and career. Then I changed it even more & joined @bms.naturalbeadedrows @dkwstyling.academy to go even deeper! Fast forward - 2020 : what. a. what?! SO much crazy. But guess what? I still have almost quadrupled my monthly income. Yes, 4X my normal income. I still am the healthiest I’ve been in years. My salon still stands, fina...ncially free & thriving through a pandemic. My clientele has grown & grown in the direction of my dream clientele! It. Was. Not. Easy. I do say this proud, but honest to God i day it humbly, bc it was not easy to get here. Tears were shed & hard decisions have been made all while weathering uncharted territory. & I’ve failed plenty of times....but I’m failing forward. I’m failing, learning, and getting back up again. And again. This one right here - she is fiercely my person who has a work ethic that is unparalleled. We sharpen + soften each other. We aren’t the same - we are very different actually and we aren’t afraid of that - never have been. We stand next to each other through it all though and push each other forward - even hundreds of miles away. This journey with you is a gift & I’m so grateful & proud of you. Honestly, she’s just stunning. One good things about masks? The eyes & hair get to get all the attention!! Her beautiful eyes with some dynamic brunette tones here for it! How do I know how many rows I need? 1 row is for adding fullness through your ends + volume! You can only get 1/2-3/4 of length out of 1 row - so not an option if you want longer hair! Trust me. 2 rows can add length, fullness & volume. Perfect for filling in sides that won’t grow, chemical cuts, postpartum loss, & mermaid hair!... 3 rows for my girls with lots of hair - the amount of hair you add in is relative to the amount of hair you have to create a balanced + believable look! 3 rows is also for shorter hair & layers going a lot longer. Adding a mini? Why? What’s a mini or half half row? A mini is only on the back of your head to break up layers & blend - not for length! So if you have medium length hair but broken or short layers, you can also do 1.5 or 2.5 rows but max 3 with @naturalbeadedrowsextensions It’s not your job to know how many rows you need - it’s mine!!! What does a move up appointment look like with @naturalbeadedrowsextensions?! We start with removing your extensions, then i love to thoroughly brush through your hair to really give that scalp some love!! Then we look at your extensions & begun coloring your extensions as needed! Sometimes they need lowlights or a toner or just a deep conditioner.... Next up, we color your hair as needed! Toner, full highlight, grey coverage - whatever you need to refresh And last, but never ever the least, we reapply your gorgeous stenchies! Back to feeling good as hell & ready to face 2020 like the boss you are. Move up days are my favvvvv! So good to feel tuned up, taken care of, and get my time for myself.
