UPDATE: SHELBY HAS BEEN FOUND. SHE IS HOME SAFE!! My dog Shelby, my close companion for the last five years and a part of our family for the last 14 years went... missing Saturday night. She had gone out to visit the grass at my cul-de-sac to do her "business" like she always does but this time she didn't come back. She has been sick and is very feeble looking when she walks so I can't help but think that someone picked her up with the intent to try and help her. I had taken her collar off trying to help her be more comfortable when she slept and forgot to put it back on so she didn't have a tag with contact info to find me. It's now been over 24 hours and no one has responded to the flyers I've put up, social media posts, or word of mouth thru out the neighborhood. It makes no sense that someone would want to steal her and she NEVER has run away her entire life. She has a route she follows and doesn't deviate. If you see this post and happened to be at Dana Pl. and Bayshore Walk on Saturday night, December 16th and saw her or know anything please contact me. You can call me at 562-714-3311.
