As many of you may know, the LeRoy Park and Community Center renovation project has found that the cost of construction has gone up since the 2017, when the City started the work of designing and applying for funding to get the park and community center back to its best. This increase in cost has left some planned park features unfunded. To address this shortfall, RCDCC (will shortly begin using its new name of Los Amigos de Guadalupe) presented to the City Council, a plan t...o start a Capital Campaign to help raise the funds needed to complete all remaining park features. See the attached flyer for more details. Please consider supporting our efforts by passing the flyer on to someone you know that may be interested in contributing. There are many levels of contribution so hopefully it will allow you to also contribute. The present construction timeline has a completion date of September 2021 and as funding comes in additional features will be added to the construction contract.

This is not related to LeRoy Park, but it could be that this future trail could start at LeRoy Park. Los Amigos de Guadalupe is supporting this effort and hopes to see everyone at the City Council this Tuesday (26th).
