Learning auana hula on the mainland is a blessing and privilege. But there is one integral part about the culture that we do not get to share. The Native islanders of Hawaii are blessed to be able to dance on the land that song is inspired by. We often say express your mana or show your aloha because the Hawaiian culture is able to perpetuate their mana through the love of their land.
