As a stylist my brain thinks, Oh my gosh, I need to see more people in a day. Two in not enough. Pack it in! But that causes stress, anxiety, & bad performance all around. Learning to fight that urge of wanting to cram my books allows me to detail my work, connect with my client, & feel happy/proud about the outcome. Yesterday I had only two clients but was in the salon from 10-6. I did two precision full foils & I’m so happy that I got to take the time to put my heart... & soul into both of them! Feels good to slow down & enjoy the little things. Remember where you started, how far you’ve come, why you do it, & your future goals.
