Bay area jazz fans- I still have some room in my History of Jazz class at College of San Mateo, which meets M/W from 1:10-2:25. Open to anyone who wants to sign... up, and very affordable. I focus mostly on the roots of the music through the classic era, and try to show the connections between Jazz and the big social changes of the 20th century. First class is 1/13.
