Yesterday, Learn4Life partner AV Dream Center hosted a ribbon cutting and thank you ceremony for their new location. The AV Dream Center has helped feed hundreds of Learn4Life student families in need over the past several months, and is vital to our community. #ChangeYourStory

We give our students a jumpstart on their future with a mastery of in-demand skills. Every student completes a 10-week course to receive five credits of Professional Skills and five credits of Foundations in Computing as part of the core curriculum. We provide relevant training in customer service skills, cover letters writing, resume building, applications and mock interviews as well as helping students explore their interests and career goals. #ProfessionalSkills #ChangeYourStory

Among the challenges families sometimes face, access to community resources is just as much a concern as receiving a quality education. This month we celebrate one of the most innovative and successful methods of delivering education with the new AMOR Wellness Center in rural Mendota, Calif. This novel concept brings a host of community wraparound services under one roof. ... Before attending Vista Real, Karina struggled to keep up academically. Karina dealt with bullying at her last school which affected her mental health. With the help of Vista Real staff, she was able to graduate during the 2020 pandemic. Karina plans on continuing her education at her local Community College with a passion to pursue a degree in Criminology. #ChangeYourStory

If I Had Not Found Learn4Life, I Would Probably Be a High School Dropout Working in the Fields His teacher, Jose Barbosa, understood that dual enrollment or future college wasn't something that interested Uriel, so he encouraged him toward CTE and a pathway in logistics. Thanks to our longtime partnership with UPS, Uriel was encouraged to interview for a position with the local UPS Warehouse. In October he eagerly accepted a position as a preloader for the famous brown truc...ks. While most high school students are still sleeping, Uriel is beginning his day at 3:30 a.m., preparing to report to the Fresno UPS Distribution Center. By 4:30 a.m. he already is working on preloading the UPS trucks with packages to be delivered throughout the Central Valley. By 9:30 a.m. he has finished his shift, but he doesn't head home to catch up on his sleep. Instead, he heads to Learn4Life to finish his final logistics class and core requirements for graduation. #ChangeYourStory @ups

Offered at select sites, our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 12th grade program supports parents who choose to #homeschool. Our credentialed Learn4Life teachers meet weekly with parents and students to provide resources, student assignments, parent/teacher guides and a full lesson plan to ensure academic progress. Students and parents have access to online and/or hard copy math and English language arts textbooks, and many online subscription-based platforms such as ...Reading Eggs and BrainPOP. Our teachers and staff are available to answer day-to-day questions, work through conceptual problems with students and help parents tackle instructional learning challenges that may arise. #ChangeYourStory
