In all the time I've done batik, I've resisted the urge to talk in a video...until now. My favorite part of the process is the final stage--the crackling stage. I feel this sets my work apart from others. I really try to allow each piece to find an additional amount of texture created by the crackling stage.

Creative Batik Flashback: My first attempt at creating a batik on denim. I want to make my first quilt using the Snail Trail pattern so I'm creating my own accent batik design.
