Who is our valentine? Our community! We’ve just wrapped up another successful day of COVID-19 vaccine registration after a week of work with our rural communities. Lots more to do. Thank you to all who made this possible.

On Thursday, we administered 400 #COVID-19 #vaccines in the rural community of Riverdale to people who were 65 and older or were agriculture workers. Many of th...e people who received them said they were happy to be able to get them where they live. We will be part of similar events in the coming days and will post information. A big thank you to our partners Thursday Saint Agnes Medical Center; the Fresno State Mobile Health Unit; Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability; and the County of Fresno. A members-only luxury development that excludes existing residents, threatens displacement, and gobbles up scarce natural resources should not move forward in the ECV. The developer & County tout a water connections fund as a benefit. PSA County can use local discretionary $ & apply 4 state & fed funding to meet these needs. A luxury development should not hold a community hostage from accessing affordable housing & safe drinking water.
