As part of LBW’s drive to further enhance the customer experience, we created a position to increase our efficiency, accuracy, and overall execution of our clients’ Employee Benefits programs. Kenny has joined LBW as our Employee Benefits Support Technician. Kenny is the eighth member LBW’s growing Employee Benefits Team. Kenny’s strength’s are in IT and analytics. There are actually two pieces of legislation proposed that would benefit live music venues - most of whom have been completely shut down since March and have no opening date in sight. One of the pieces of legislation - the RESTART Act (with 44 bi-partisan sponsors) would actually benefit MORE than just live music venues. It creates a forgivable loan program targeting the hardest hit businesses. It would provide up to six months of operating expenses, allowing the funds to be spent on a much broader list of expenses than the PPP loans and no requirement to spend a minimum portion on payroll or other expense categories. Had to do our "All Hands" meeting in the parking lot this morning so we had plenty of "social distance" when we got our staff together.
