Do you think about refinancing your mortgage? Good But before making such a decision - you better ask yourself the following questions: 1. Are current interest rates lower than my rate? ... If yes - refinancing is a great way to secure a lower interest rate. But if not - it's not the best choice to refinance at a higher interest rate. 2. Is my current loan unconventional? If yes - homeowners with a Jumbo or balloon mortgage often refinance to avoid rising payments. No worries, homeowners with a conventional fixed-rate or ARM loan can also refinance 3. Do I plan to stay in my home for more than two years? If yes - you'll be able to enjoy savings from refinancing. But if not - consider you'll have to pay closing costs, and you may not see savings if you move. 4. Have I built 20% equity in my home? If yes - then the good news is the more equity you've built in your home, the easier it is to refinance But if not - lenders may advise you not to refinance if you haven't built much equity. source: mortgagechicks

The three most important factors when buying a home are location, location, and location Too often, we hear from our clients that they make a decision based on the home itself Like, if it's your dream house, it doesn't matter where it's located, right? No, that's a mistake ... What is it about the location that is so important in real estate investing? Remember that ANY home's condition and price can be changed. You may even change the house's size! But the one thing you can't change is the location of your house. So, don't buy in a good or bad neighborhood; buy in a neighborhood that you can see the future of

Here's the continuation of our series "Questions to ask when buying a home" Today's question is: How old is the roof? Let’s face it: roofs are necessary and expensive ...
