Last week, over at Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Long Beach, the City of Long Beach hosted a mobile vaccination clinic to help the most vulnerable in District 6. Thank you all for the educational experiences based upon the choices I make, (they) can affect me for the rest of my life and others, so my goal is to move forward in a positive way!" -A Student

WHAT ARE KIDS SAYING ABOUT SHORTSTOP? "I like the SHORTSTOP Program. I think it's good for bad kids to see what could happen to them if they continue to be bad and make bad choices. I was good to see people who have been in trouble and come to tell us all the things they went through and trouble they caused. The consequences for the trouble they caused made it all more real." -A Student

WHAT ARE KIDS SAYING ABOUT SHORTSTOP? "I really love the speakers. I like how you have to really have your parents there for you to be able to do everything that needs to be done. They are also very helpful and helped me with things and fixed them. A true eye opener." -A Student

WHAT ARE KIDS SAYING ABOUT SHORTSTOP? "I think this program is a great way to both get the help you need to steer on the right path, but it also teached you how consequences not and in the future...will impact you. It's a way better option than having to go through juvie (juvenile hall)." -A Student

WHAT ARE KIDS SAYING ABOUT SHORTSTOP? "What the SHORTSTOP Program does for juveniles and minors in risks like me is very commendable. I appreciate their assistance for helping me and my case...I appreciated the attorney's discussion with me and the group about our situations and some legal consequences and background...All in all, I am very thankful for this second chance and reflection the SHORTSTOP Program has provided for me." -A Student
