Happy Monday Everyone! Just saw this beautiful review on Yelp. My office currently has 31 5 star reviews on Yelp that are not posted so I decided from now on whenever I see them I will post them on my page. When I contact Yelp to ask why they don't post our reviews I was told by their representative that it's impossible for a business to have so many great reviews without offering some sort of incentive. I'm letting everyone on this platform know that my office does not offe...r any incentives to those who write reviews. Our clients write reviews because they are grateful for the services they receive not because we offer them any sort of incentive! I've seen many businesses offer incentives like $25 Starbucks gift cards etc for their clients to write a review but we have never done that! Our reviews are all authentic and genuine from REAL CLIENTS! That is why I opened this Facebook page so our clients can write reviews and be contacted by other potential clients about their experience. Just got off a Zoom consult with a client in San Francisco. This individual paid over $27,000 to his immigration attorney to represent him at his removal hearings. Everyone is free to charge what they want but once it gets to a certain point it's considered exorbitant! Even a seasoned attorney like myself would never charge that much, not even close! You should never hire an attorney based on their fees but rather based on their expertise and reputation. If someone barely cha...rges you for a case it should be a red flag but that goes the same for someone who overcharges you! We had another client who paid his attorney $5,900 to file for a replacement of his green card! I was so shocked I actually asked him to see the retainer as I could not believe how anyone could charge so much. When you hire an attorney please ask around before you pay your hard-earned money to them. I see this happen so often in the Latino community, sadly many of them get taken advantage of by other Spanish speaking notorios and attorneys. We have so many great Immigration attorneys who truly care about their clients and work hard for them. Please do your homework before you retain an attorney. If you have older relatives, neighbors, friends who do not have access to a computer, please help them.
