Another offer because it is another day where I see this. Check your auto insurance. Carefully. I just came across a client who owns 3 homes and is insured with the state minimum limits - that is $30,000 in California. The insurance agent should be sued for malpractice. However, since we cannot do that, I am going to offer this: If you live in California, I will review your auto insurance for free. I will tell you if you are properly insured or underinsured. Free. Please, please, please, not only have an estate plan, but make sure it is reviewed every 12 to 24 months. I am working with a client now who had made decisions based on the laws of 2003. Fast forward and the estate is going to be more complicated because the laws changed, but the estate plan was never reviewed and updated. So, here is my offer. Why should you hire an attorney? I just settled a car accident case. The initial offer to my client, without me, was less than her medical bills. Significantly less.
