We don't do it for the "thank yous," but its nice when you get them...An e-mail from a client's relative I just recieved. "Dear Haregu, I hope this email finds you well!... It has been a while since we have spoken. I have been terribly busy with a very tight schedule struggling to balance work, school and life at the same time. However, I would like to take this time to let you know that, me and my family are so grateful for all you did to help our cousin M during her asylum process. We are so thankful for the great job you did and should we have any similar need in a future, you will be our first point of contact. Again thank you so much and God bless !!! Sincerely,"

Great news for residents of San Francisco interested in becoming US citizens.... The city and count of San Francisco will be assisting in covering the cost of filing your application for citizenship. Sometimes, this city still makes me proud. If you qualify please take advantage of the program, we will have more information coming up.

#Republican's decisions to block the President of the United States from appointing United States Supreme Justice was the direct cause of today's #SCOTUS negative decision on #USvTexas. This 4-4 split is exactly what a nine Justices Bench was supposed to prevent. #congress is failing the American system, by holding it hostage. #countrybeforepride.

The journey as well as the reason behind the journey to the United States is unique to every single person that enters our country. As a result, the method used to obtain legal status in the United States may also be as equally unique. As person who intends to obtain legal status in the United States, the first questions you need to ask yourself is, what is my legal method of eligibility to obtaining status in the United States? An immigrant may obtain legal permanent st...atus through: Family Petition, Employment, Refugee/Asylee Status..ect. Permanent legal status differs greatly from temporary (non-immigrant visa) status, it is important to differentiate between whether you are entering the United States on a temporary bases or permanently. The Law Offices Of Haregu Gaime is here to help you navigate through the legal system. If you have questions please reach out to us at haregugaimelaw.com. Thank you.

San Francisco is a special place. We all need a safe, reliable home that we can come to, but when speculators are allowed to negotiate the sale of our homes, in back door dealings, we become vulnerable. It is really important to be informed about what is happening, please seek information and know your rights. http://www.sfexaminer.com/board-goes-rogue-in-attempt-to-s/

Please Share with your community. In 2015, DHS mistakenly sent some DACA recipients a three year work permit. These work permits are now being mandated to be returned, or the holder could lose their DACA status, to avoid the possibility of loss of status, please share these steps on how to return the work permit to DHS. Unfortunately, DHS' mistake can cost you, your status, so please return. http://sfgsa.org/modules/showdocument.aspx?documentid=13190
