What’s Cooking Wednesday Protein pancakes give these a try the next time that you are craving fluffy pancake but want to stay on track with your fitness results . INGREDIENTS:... cup Trulean’s Frosted Vanilla Cake Protein Powder FitBodyFuel.com cup rolled oats teaspoon baking soda teaspoon baking powder teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract cup cottage cheese cup almond milk teaspoon Lemon Zest 1 egg yolk 4 egg whites 1 tablespoon granular Swerve . HOW TO MAKE: 1Preheat your pancake griddle or large skillet over medium-high heat. 2 Combine all of the dry ingredients in a food processor. Pulse to combine until smooth. 3Add the vanilla extract, cottage cheese, almond milk, lemon zest and egg yolk. Blend until smooth. 4Use an electric mixer to beat the egg whites and Swerve until stiff peaks form. Gently mix the egg whites into the batter. 5 Use a paper towel to carefully rub coconut oil on your preheated griddle or skillet. Reduce the heat to low. Use a cup to scoop the batter onto the griddle in nice big circles. When bubbles form, flip the pancakes to cook on the other side. Cover when cooking the second side for about a minute to help cook the middle of the pancake. 6 Serve with fresh fruit and a drizzle of pure maple syrup. Enjoy! Everybody has the same basic body and needs, and we have to have the courage to train the fundamentals, the basics, at least 80% of the time. Sure, add some spice in there now and again, but focus on the basics. Dan John Learn to squat properly before thinking that you need fancier equipment .... Learn to eat 3 servings of vegetables a day before debating on whether you should intermittent fast Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water consistently before spending a ton of money on energy drinks Don’t get bogged down with the minor details when it comes to health and fitness. Those things don’t make that much of a difference. They do however distract you from taking action and putting in the REAL work that would make a real impact . Focus on the basic fundamentals. It might seem boring but it works
