#filmfactfriday The original Rudolph and Santa puppets from the stop-motion classic #RudolphtheRedNosedReindeer resurfaced in 2006 on @roadshowpbs. Apparently, after the film wrapped in the early 1960s, the puppets found themselves in the hands of production execs Rankin/Bass, who gifted them to secretary Barbara Adams. Adams used them as holiday decorations and stored them in her attic during the off-season, where the rest of the puppets sadly melted. The Santa and Rudolph duo have since been restored to their pristine, on-camera condition, and are on display at @ctr_puppetry_arts.
