The Rev. Gerardo Roma Garcia, a good friend of our partners Holy Spirit Silver Lake and Trinity-LA + La Trinidad, just started up a Laundry Love ministry as part of his outreach to the Hispanic community of East Hampton, NY. We're so proud and thrilled for him and the communities being served!

Made by one of our special friends at Laundry Love last night. Our 24th outing was our biggest yet! $575 in quarters were spent as we loved our neighbors one load at a time.

It was a banner night for us at Laundry Love last night! We welcomed St. John's Cathedral as a new partner and we did $560 worth of laundry for our guests - a new record! So grateful for the loving contributions of delicious food from Trinity-LA + La Trinidad and fresh produce from Seeds of Hope as well. It's amazing what we can do together!

Join us this Wednesday for our August Laundry Love outing at Los Lavaderos Laundromat at 4371 E. Melrose Ave. Volunteers are needed from 6:30 to 10:00 PM. Click on the link below to sign up!

Many of the folks who come to Laundry Love don't live on the street but struggle to make ends meet. This powerful piece from NPR this past weekend sheds light on families in San Bernardino who a struggling to make lives out of motels - not able to afford homes and just barely staying off the streets.

Last month, Laundry Love East Hollywood spent $440 in quarters to do approx. 320 loads of laundry. Join us next Wednesday for our June outing loving our neighbor one load of laundry at a time! Sign up through the link below and bring a snack or dessert to share if you can!
