Brewed in honor of social activist Dolores Huerta and the @doloreshuertafdn which organizes communities at the grassroots level, developing natural leaders and volunteer organizations empowered to pursue social justice. Beer Week Contest! Shortly after we opened our doors in 2016 our guests began drawing and dressing up our monk logo on our coasters. Since then it has become an inspiration for how we design our cans. When we first opened our doors in 2016 our guests quickly created a ritual of dressing up our monk logo on coasters. We became inspired by this community art and have since incorporated this tradition when designing our can labels. We decided to launch a competition for Beer Week 2021 and have our fans get the opportunity to have their art featured and with much excitement we made ...this a reality for @nash.meg who designed these fabulous renditions of the mystery gang! Inside this can is a hazy IPA with Citra, Cashmere, and the mysterious BRU-1 hops, giving this beer an expressive fruit forward flavor that is perfect for snack time!

R.I.P R.B.G. We are re-releasing this brew from earlier in the year and donating 100% of revenue to the ACLU. Ruth Bader Ginsburg was integral in directing the work of the ACLU Women's Rights Project from its founding in 1972 until she was appointed to the DC Circuit court in 1980. This Double IPA is packed with Citra and Strata coming in at 8.4%. The Strata used in this beer was the first time using our 2020 hand(nose) selected hops from @indiehops. We’re happy with the three lots we picked!!!
