She is currently the Health Education, Community Outreach and Nutrition Services Executive at Sutter Health (Palo Alto Medical Foundation).She previously served as Strategic Planning Manager at Zuckerberg San Franc...isco General Hospital, where she began as a summer graduate student intern while earning her Masters in Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Health Policy and Management and Multicultural Health at UC Berkeley. Welcome Jen to the Latina Coalition Board! We are so exicited to have you join the team and we know you are going to bring so much value to our communidad! Learn more about Jen below: Jen Delara is Head of Community at Core, a newly launched construction labor marketplace supporting the construction workforce of the future. Located in Palo Alto, CA, Jen is responsible for Core’s day-to-day community, marketing, branding and customer outreach and support. Jen also spearheads ...all Spanish communication. Jen has more than a decade of consultancy experience specializing in marketing and community management across a number of business sectors. In addition to her current role at Core, Jen is the founder and CEO of sharing/gig economy/fast fashion startup Haves Club. Prior to joining Core, Jen held leadership positions in operations, digital content and social community at some of the world’s leading companies including YouTube and Waze. Most recently, she held dual roles as Digital Media Manager & Community Manager at Stanford University. Jen studied Integrative Science from Arizona State University. She was a college athlete and played both golf and softball. While earning her degree she was also enrolled in multiple study abroad programs and clubs. Born from a family of immigrants (Jalisco, Mexico), Jen is now a board member of the Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley and has been an active volunteer and spokesperson for a number of organizations including the Young Life Capernaum and Marrow.org. Jen has also competed in a number of beauty pageants earning multiple titles including Miss Congeniality, Señorita Jalisco (2010). She is an avid traveler having visited all 50 U.S. states and has lived in Mexico, Spain, and Australia. Jen continues to utilize her vast cultural experience to inform her prescriptive and strategic approaches.
