You may remember the birthday bash we threw our beloved Fran T. a few months ago in honor of her 101st birthday. Today is National Centenarian's Day and we just want to give a shoutout to Fran again! The youngest of 6 children, Fran worked at Western Union and the LA Fruit Growers as a telegraph operator and a correspondent. She also modeled for an ad, pictured here! When asked about getting older, Fran says "You learn what's important and what matters. Everything else can fall by the wayside as far as I’m concerned."
