Isolation is key. Make sure your lash artist is isolating each lash during your service. Meaning: each individual extension should be placed on ONE single natural lash, not multiple natural lashes, or even 2 natural lashes. This is crucial for the health of your natural eyelashes. If there is an extension glued to more than one natural eyelash, that extension will pull at the other lashes, causing them to fall out prematurely. At LashPop, isolation is everything. So lets talk aftercare/tips on how to make those lashes last as long as possible (since we have no idea when LashPop will be able to re-open) The less you touch them, the longer they will last you. (Apart from washing them, don’t mess with or pull at them). Avoid oil based products.... Brush only when needed. Don’t use a q-tip or cloth to wash your lashes/your eyes. The fibers will catch on the extensions. Stay away from eye makeup (eye liner, mascara, cream eyeshadows). Wash them! Yes, this helps prolong your lashes, because you are removing any residue and oils that cause your extensions to fall out sooner. Try to sleep on your back. We recommend not using a lash serum for now. Yes, serums are great for the health of your natural lashes, but it will also cause your natural lashes to grow/shed quicker, and your extensions will go with them. HOW DO I CARE FOR MY LASHES? We’re glad you asked. Here are our top tips: Wait 24-48 hrs before applying water, steam, spray tan, or serum.... It is very important to wash your lashes at least every other day with a gentle foaming cleanseryou can pick one up at the LashPop Shop. Brush gently, only when needed (you’ll get a complementary lash brush with your appointment). Avoid oil based products. Avoid eyeliner, mascara, and eyelash curlers. Avoid touching /pulling at your extensions. Try your best not to sleep on your lashes. We recommend coming in for fills every 2-3 weeks to maintain full lashes. Always always always come to your fill appointment with clean lashes (your lashes will last longer!) See more
