Want to support a small business? Here’s a few ways you can do so... 1. Write a review. Yes, I am talking Yelp. Show your favorite small & local business some love. It’s quick, easy, and so appreciated. ... 2. Buy a gift card or product from them. Many small businesses are hurting financially due to being unable to open their doors due to Covid restrictions. Even if they are open, they are limited to their services and that takes a direct impact on their financial outlook. 3. Follow them on social Media. Like their post. Share their post. Repost their post on your FB & IG pages & stories. 4. Refer, refer, refer! Tell your friends & family why you love them. If it they cannot open currently, they will need the business as soon as they can safely open their doors. The more people know how great they are, the more business they will hopefully open to. 5. Donate! That’s right. Many small & local business have set up gofundme accounts or other donation accounts in order to keep their doors open. Ask them about it and donate! 6. Ask them how you can help. Might sound silly, but keep in mind many industries have not been able to operate in Marin, in California since March. That’s a long time to pause your career, your livelihood, etc. So ask them What can I do to support your business simple as that. There might not be more you can do for them at the moment, but it’s the thought that counts. If you think if any other ways you can help support a small business during quarantine.
