#Repost @elleebanausa Is this the kind of lash separation you are aiming for on each of your clients? It should be... Let us explain , consider your rod your canvas for a true masterpiece. A rushed lash placement can leave your finished result with gaps, crossed lashes, kinked or some L shape looking lashes. Have you ever had any of these happen once the client's lashes are dry? ... This gorgeous lash separation by @lumierebylp is utterly stunning when lifting the lashes onto the rod, aim for the following... - Tight placement of the lashes, you do not want to see any loose lashes or bubbles at the base of the lash line and rod. - Straight, vertical lashes from the base of the lashes, through to the tip of the lashes. Although we do not apply lotions to the tips of the lashes, the tips still need to be placed correctly. - Individual lash separation. We can not say this enough. Take your time to separate the lashes as individually as possible on the rod. This is what the tip of our lash lifting tools are created for. (hot tip, separate from the base NOT from the midway of the lashes and use long, controlled motions ) - Check your work. Always look front on at your work. You can use a mirror, like in this picture or walk around the front of your bed. It is so easy to miss crisscrossing lashes or twisted lashes when only looking from behind your client's head. - If you have any baby anagen lashes that are not sticking to the rod, try and place them under your eyepatch to avoid processing. These lashes will be better lifted at their next appointment. HOT TIP IF you have any lashes fall off your rod after you've removed your lifting lotion BEFORE you've applied your setting (which can happen, being that the lash adhesive is water-soluble) simply go with with a tiny amount of adhesive to set those lashes back up. Remembering the "setting" solution "sets" the lashes into their new position, if you have lashes lose or falling off the rod THAT IS HOW THEY WILL SET. We hope you've gained some insightful tips from this post. . . See more

Back to basics...#Repost @natalliaivchankova Back to basics! Thursday education.... @elleebana henna color profile. Things to know: are your starters. Blond is your yellow/warm , Black is green/ash. You can use blond and black to add on to lighten or darken the color or mixed together for a your blond cool pallet. : - , are neutrals. Absolutely amazing to use by themselves or in the mixture. To deepen these colours use black or mocha, to lighten use blond. - is very rich and suits dark redheads and the best to use on its own due to a colour complexity. - is very cool and deep! Add on for coolness. It is not as deep and harsh as black! Great for starting mixing deeper colours! Top row is a sheer version of each color (applied as watercolor) to establish undertones. Are you giving your clients the correct aftercare? Repost @elleebana Correct aftercare is critical in keeping your lashes healthy for the duration of your lash cycle. Just like when you go to the hairdressers and have a treatment, it is a requirement that you adhere to aftercare steps to look after your luscious locks, why should our lashes be any different? ... Incorrect aftercare can drastically affect the longevity of your client's lash lift and also the overall condition of your client's lashes. Here are some of the following aftercare steps we recommend for your clients. Avoid Moisture, excess steam and excess water for the first 24hours - (For the first 24 hours after the treatment your lashes are still quite delicate and malleable. Ensuring that you are not exposing your lashes to excess steam or excess moisture will prevent the lash lift from dropping.) Do not rub or play with your lashes - it can be tempting to touch and admire your gorgeous lashes (Natural oils from your hands and skin can alter the structure of the lash lift and if you are playing with the lashes they may fall out prematurely.) Do not use shampoos, conditioners, makeups, creams, eye serums or oils on the lashes or around the eye are for first 24 hours Avoid using a strong eye makeup remover for 48 hours Try sleeping on your back for the first night to avoid lashes dropping on the outer corner Use at-home treatments to help to keep your lashes conditioned and nourished between lifts is a MUST! - We recommend using our famous Elleevate mascara or Elleeplex treatment mascara. These incredible daily treatment options aid in nourishing, protecting, and strengthening your lashes. Active ingredients such as keratin, biotin, and arginine make for the perfect triple threat for keeping your lashes in pristine condition between lifts. A MUST for any lash lift loving client We hope you've found these aftercare tips helpful, don't forget to save this post to come back to later! See more
