Last night, Ofcs assigned to the Hollywood Entertainment Detail were taking a police report for a Victim who had his vehicle stolen on Hollywood Blvd. While working on the report, they were flagged down by ANOTHER Victim stating his car was just stolen from the Blvd as well. The Ofcs quickly located the 2nd Victims’ stolen vehicle leaving the area. They attempted to stop it, however the driver tried fleeing. He did not make it far, instead, he crashed into a parked car on Schrader Blvd. The driver immediately exited and ran from Ofcs. After a short foot pursuit & with help from our airship, the driver was located hiding in a nearby parking lot. Inside the vehicle, a loaded and unregistered assault rifle. The driver was arrested & booked at Hollywood Jail on multiple charges.

As we head into this hot Labor Day weekend, we want to remind residents & visitors of Hollywood: laws still apply here. Open containers, drunk in public, & smoking marijuana in public are all ILLEGAL. We have extra Officers working the Blvd, be responsible and SAFE.

123% increase in criminal homicide for 2020 so far. Over the 6 day period of 8/23-8/29, West Bureau alone, had 9 shooting victims.

We are happy to announce the arrest of both Carlton Callway & Willie Walker in connection with the hate crime / robbery that occurred on Hollywood Blvd earlier this week. We want to thank the public for their help on social media AND make very clear: We will not tolerate acts like this in Hollywood against ANY of our community members. Move over or slow down for stopped emergency vehicles! This photo was from this morning in Morgan Hill. CHP - Hollister-Gilroy was stopped on the right shoulder investigating a traffic collision when another driver rear ended them. The driver of that vehicle was arrested for... you guessed it: DUI. Luckily both the Officer and driver suffered minor injuries only.

Another night, another arrest by Hollywood Gang officers.. 2 more unregistered handguns recovered during a traffic stop, and 1 more bad guy in jail.

#WhileYouSlept Hollywood Gang Officers recovered 2 more guns and arrested 2 more people. 1 for possession of a stolen firearm and the other for possession of an unregistered firearm.

Last night, our Officers responded to a radio call of street racing at the intersection of Hollywood & Highland. When Officers arrived they were directed to a 17 year old female bystander who had been shot and was unresponsive. LAFD arrived and determined death at scene. 33 y/o Ramon Roque Monreal has been arrested for 187 PC - Murder in connection to this incident and his bail has been set at 3 million dollars. Today we lost LAPD Mission Division Officer, Valentin Martinez, after a brave battle with COVID. Our thoughts are with our brothers & sisters at LAPD Mission Community Police Station tonight, as well as his family. Rest In Peace Sir.
