Big shout out to Under Armour, the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation for their generous donation. A big thank you to the Los Angeles Police Baseball Team, the Weingart YMCA staff, and all the brave police officers of the Los Angeles Police Department, who came out for two days to help upgrade the Weingart YMCA Youth Center and garden through Under Armour Freedom Initiative Project. Together we will positively change the lives of our youth!

Continuing our celebration of LA Dodger legend Manny Mota, and his 50yrs w/ the Dodgers organization. We are honored to provide toys, clothing, school supplies, candy, bikes, and collected youth baseball equipment to the Manny Mota International Foundation. We are also honored to present Manny with our LAPD Baseball Team jersey with his legendary #11 that he wore during his record breaking years on the field with the Dodgers. Manny, we salute you!

LAPD Baseball Team in Chi-Town representing LA at the Chicago Windy City Police and Fire World Series. 11 teams including NYPD, Chicago PD, San Francisco PD, Philadelphia PD, Chicago Fire, Dallas Fire, Boston Fire, LA Sheriffs, Toronto Fire, Edmonton Ottowa Canada Police and Fire are here balling for gold!

Knights and LAPD battled into the 6th tied at 1-1. LAPD was able to put up three runs to take a 4-1 lead heading into the 7th. Knights were able to put up a run... and with bases loaded couldn’t get the big hit to tie or take the lead. Final 4-2 LAPD. Overall, tough start to the tournament but every game is a battle. No easy wins for anyone. All three games could’ve gone either way. Great competitive baseball. The biggest free baseball festival on the west coast takes place this Friday from 10:30am to 4:00pm! The Annual LAPD Swing-A-Thon 2019. Special guests include LA Dodger great Manny Mota, celebrating his 50 years w/ the Dodger organization, LA Dodger great Kenny Landreaux, and LA Dodger pitcher Kenley Jansen. Free baseball and soccer skill clinics, public safety displays, interactive games, giveaways, prize drawings, fun contests, community booths, music, and a grand finale baseball game LAPD vs. LASD. Hundreds of Dodger tickets and prizes will be given away during the game!

Our 3rd Annual Timothy Moss Wild Wild West LAPD Baseball Invitational was a fun and very competitive tournament with LASD Stars taking Gold, Orange County Sheriff’s Titans taking silver, and our own LAPD Baseball Team taking the bronze game! Thanks to all the police and fire teams that participated, including California Lookouts, Bakersfield PD, LA County Fire, and LASD Hooks!
