No tolerance policies are fascinating. Whether it's at home with kids or schools with bullying or hospitals. I have rarely seen the actual definition be applied. No tolerance to me equals, no warnings, no second chances, you screwed up now take the consequences. If you say you'll get a warning first. Then that's NOT a no tolerance policy. Any thoughts? If someone attacks you, you don't say, please don't do that again...you respond accordingly with conviction.

Violence is rarely about the "topic" the topic is just the excuse for violence from violent people. Hey....I just made my own quote. Lol. Then the next mission. How to effectively prepare to defend against this violence.

When I was in the military flying as a load master on c 141, a lot of training was spent on "emergency procedures" or "what if" scenarios. I see the what if happen to people unexpectedly everyday in the ER room. Don't wait. Learn self defense skills (any and all variations from ground to weapons) and its better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

"If you think education is expensive, try ignorance." I believe Dr. Bok of Harvard said that. What have you NOT trained in recently? Better marriage skills , self defense skills, working out, that college course, etc. Motivation follows action.

Another reason to treat yourself and your family to some good old fashioned "SELF protection" whether its responsible gun ownership or self protection and martial arts classes. We carry pepper spray and other means of family protection as well. http://www.kcra.com//11797/20650150/-/dpyo3p/-/index.html
