#Juneteenth At a time when our nation is engaged in confronting the trauma caused by institutionalized racism that for centuries has shaped the everyday realities of people of color, Emancipation Day provides a welcome opportunity to affirm that Black Lives Matter and to celebrate Black culture. Because of you, we raised $2100. We not only hit our goal of $1500, but heavily surpassed it! We are all at a loss for words. Many of you have taken some kind of budget cut during these tough times but you still found it in your hearts to help out a good cause. Your willingness to stand for change is grea...tly appreciated. Lots of you donated, shared awareness with friends and family, and used your own platforms to play a role in making a difference. We all want to say thank you.
