Happy Independence Day to everybody! Hope you all have a great weekend!
Showering rains wake dormant seeds and turn trees from bare and brown to leafy green. The air above is washed and rinsed of dust and smokes leaving the Sky dee...p Blue above the Gray Clouds that, in the early morning, touch the earth in foggy misty shrouds. Drought parched land drinks up the falling rains and in return nourishes grasses and wildflowers to color the land with GOD’s Paintbrush with a riot of vibrant blooms. For a time the land will be fresh and growing green this spring. Thank GOD we are here to enjoy the views and colorful flower show. Our Western End is turning into a Grassy seldom traveled Branch Line in appearance.

Don't forget to change your clocks ahead one hour. We'll be open Sunday 11 am to 3 pm, weather permitting.
It looks as if the storm clouds are clearing and we are getting ready to run this morning. We will run as long as the weather remains dry. It's quite a bit cooler today.
Wouldn't a train ride be fun today? Come on down! Our gates are open from 11 am to 3 pm. Our stationary steam plant will be in operation and the Disney Barn open, too!
Larry Fisher's memorial will be held this Saturday, Feb 15 at 1 pm at the NHRA Motorsports Museum in Pomona. Looking forward to seeing many friends from the live steam hobby. Don't forget, the NHRA Museum would like us to RSVP. Their phone number is: 909-622-2133. Use Gate 1 off McKInley, not Gate 17!
