Lakeside Historical Society Museum

This is pretty neat, my friend Tom Coble donated this rolling pin to LHS, he said his mom gave it to him and she claimed it was an original pin from the bakery ...in lakeside, Although he's not sure which bakery there were 2 , Dent Bakery established early 1900 and Watkins Bakery & Fountain established 1947. My guess is it was from Watkins because of the good condition it's in. Thanks Tom, we will put it in the museum. See more

Possibly the oldest bell in the East County. The Presbyterian church was built in 1889 on Maine Ave Lakeside Ca. The church was purchased by the Lakeside Histor...ical Society in the 80's. Come on by and we'll give you a tour. We're open Tuesday -Saturday 10AM till 2PM On Wednesdays we have the Archives open to the public for research, Edna is usually there and is always happy to tell stories of Lakeside of old.
