Today's air shipment drop off in Sacramento included Teagan, my co-pilot. For some reason she thinks she is really missing out by not going with me on the 2 AM adventures to air cargo. She was a bit disappointed that she didn't get to see any airplanes, but excited to see the carts that take the kennels to the plane! After both flights experienced delays today, we are pleased to receive word that the final flight is in the air heading to the East Coast.

It's always a good feeling when you hear from buyers that their kids have arrived safely via air travel. Another successful morning for shipping babies to new homes!

Came home from a super duper early airport drop off of 4 kids heading to a new home to find that I had another relief milker! Bentley came out to the barn at dark thirty with her dad to help get morning chores done before she heads to school and mommy and daddy start the work day. It truly takes a village! I am also once again reminded why I love shipping out of SMF airport!

The goats got spoiled today, while my bank account took a hit! Happy goats, happy life...or something like that!

The highs and lows of owning livestock can sometimes all be summed up in a day unfortunately. Saying our goodbyes to an old friend who unexpectedly passed at one moment, then loving on new babies the next. If it wasn't for the highs, it would be all that more difficult to get through the lows. Rest easy Kairisee...you were loved until the end and have left quite a legacy with three beautiful daughters in our herd.

SG LAKESHORE SHOW ME SUMMER 5*M https://www.adgagenetics.org/GoatDetail.aspx SUMMER is an incredibly large doe (the tallest in the herd) with a lot of strength and power, yet without giving up any femininity. We love her natural upstandingness in the front end and beautiful breed character, combined with tremendous length of body and levelness over the topline. She has a well attached udder with roundness in shape, height in the rear, and smoothness in the fore.
