Lake Front Cabins, June Lake

Located a 20 min drive from the hotel is one of the oldest lakes in North America, Mono Lake. The famous "Tufa" Towers are formed due to the interaction between the fresh water springs from the Sierras and the alkaline lake water which is 2.5x as salty as the ocean. We highly recommend visiting for photography, bird watching and the occasional swim if you are so inclined!

One of the most frequent requests we received was to bring back the fire pits to the outdoor areas at our hotel. With this in mind we currently have 3 gas powered fire pits that are hard lined for guests to enjoy. Our hope is that it will be a space for families & friends to disconnect after a long day enjoying the lake or nearby hikes

Winter is upon us! With the incoming snows, both the Mammoth Ski Resort & June Lake Ski Resorts are planning to open soon for the start of the ski season. We're looking forward to the winter wonderland and the beauty on the loop during this time of year. Winter reflections on June Lake!

Hope everyone is enjoying the change in seasons. A update, the nearby June Lake Ski Resort is opening up on Dec. 19th with enhacements in place to ensure guests can ski safely due to Covid. Also one of the great things about June Lake is that kids under the age of 12 can ski for free. The ski slopes are only a short 5 minute drive from our hotel and we're looking forward to getting some good days in this year

We are loving summer here in June Lake, but we are already starting to get reservations for the upcoming Fall! Starting around late August with a peak in mid October the leaves and colors begin to change creating beautiful scenery. That time of year attracts photographers from around the country and the hotel will fill up. Let us know if you have any questions and hope everyone is doing well!
