Lake Amador Resort

So I just noticed my video never posted on Tuesday 1000 POUNDS OF AMAGOLDS WERE STOCKED TUESDAY 10/27/2020!! We released them at the Dry Camp point in the mouth of Carson Arm cove. Surface temp is getting colder and is now at 67 degrees over most the lake and we are currently around 35’ from full. THE TACKLE BOX CAFE OPENS TOMORROW FOR HOT FOOD so come catch some Golds and fill your belly with some delicious food!! See y’all soon and as always tight lines

Jerry Jaszkowski from San Jose caught a nice 3.3lb amagold with a crappie jig by the dam!

Brandon Lewis and James Walls hit the lake on Tuesday 10/20 and limited out on Amagolds! Not sure what they were using but whatever it was it worked!!

SECOND 1000LB RELEASE THIS WEEK We’ve now stocked 2600lbs within a 6 day period so Lake Amador is starting to look like fishing in a barrel! We saw a few caught just in the short time it took us to get to our release point. This whole load was let go at the spillway and the previous Amagold releases were at the Dam so fishing the west side of the lake should be awesome! Surface temp is still riding at 69-70 and we are currently 35’ from full. Looks like some cooler weather coming our way soon so expect these fish to start hitting shallower soon. Tight Lines

BIG LOAD OF AMADOR GOLDS STOCKED TODAY!! 1000lbs was released at the Dam this morning and we plan to release another 1000lbs of Cutbows tomorrow morning as well!! Surface temp is still around 70 degrees so I would expect to see these trout caught in 15-20’ of water. Saw some nice stringers today so they are definitely biting!

Dan Xiong decided to head over from Sac town and try his luck on catching some Amagolds yesterday 10/18. Looks like his trip was a success with a full stringer and the largest weighing in at 4.78lb and 3.56lb all caught between dam and the blue dock!

THE GOLD RUSH IS ON AT LAKE AMADOR!! The average surface temp is finally around 70 degrees so we released 600lbs of AMADOR GOLDS today at the Dam and everything looked great! With a successful opening plant we expect to release 2000 POUNDS next week with half CUTBOWS and half AMAGOLDS. From our farm to your fishing pole we hope to bring you a fantastic 2020-21 trout season and see those smiling faces with full stringers! Tight Lines
