Hi Friends, La Junta fam here. As we all collectively mourn the loss of our beloved sister/warrior/healer/leader, Soraya Medina, we're also overcome by the incredible outpouring of love the community has shown since her transition. Reading and hearing so many sincere and deeply personal stories of how she touched our lives is a source of comfort and a lesson in grace. Our La Junta family is doing a small part to commemorate Soraya's legacy by partnering with Heart On Arts (Ma...rtha Carrillo) to print a new batch of her highly coveted warrior goddess t-shirts and sweaters. With a beautiful illustration donated by Boyle Heights artist Ray Vargas, the first batch sold out quickly at the March 2020 fundraising event in Soraya's honor. T-shirts and sweaters are available for preorder now, this is a limited run, all sizes and styles are first come first serve. T-shirts $40 & Sweaters $60 (Sweaters are almost sold out, please inquire before you buy) You can submit payment by Venmo > @lajuntala, Paypal > [email protected], Cash App > $LaJuntaLA. Once sale is confirmed you can simply email [email protected] with your requested size (please include two options). 100% percent of all sales from this new run will go to support Soraya's daughters, Sienna and Violeta.
