Riding horses instead of ponies has been a big step up for me, Stella commented. It has been challenging to get used to the bigger stride. Jumping feels different, and I am still figuring out when I need to wait and when to move up.... Eleven-year-old Stella and her Earl Grey made their horse show debut at the Coachella Valley Classic, earning fourth place in the Carousel Hunter Derby. I got my horse in January, and our partnership has been very strong so far, she expressed. Stella has been a member of LAHJA for several years. I really enjoy being a member of LAHJA. I think the year-end awards are wonderful, and the medal finals are really fun. Being a part of LAHJA makes you feel special and like you are part of a community." She is looking forward to a great year ahead. Hopefully, I can compete in some of the medal classes, she added. Winning a medal final would be very fun. GrandPix
