Que Syrah jokes aside, Syrah is one of our most treasured favorites. Some local soils and micro-climates adore growing it. We love farming it. Though just an inch ahead of all that hard work, drinking it wins our vote. Our last vintage won Double-Gold from the SF Chronicle just as we were selling out. This is a small lot and only available at the winery so best be quick... Beyond the invitation, here's some Cliffs Notes (courtesy of Wine Folly) on Syrah:... Syrah is responsible for some of the darkest full-bodied red wines in the world. It has dark fruit flavors from sweet blueberry to savory black olive. When you taste Syrah you'll be greeted with a punch of flavor then a spicy peppery note in the aftertaste.
